Richard Chataway, MA (Cantab)

Richard is one of the most experienced practitioners in applied behavioural science in the UK. His strategy for the #XTL campaign (a social media campaign addressing domestic violence) won the Global Festival of Media Campaign of the Year in 2014, and he also led the development of the world’s most successful stop smoking mobile app (My QuitBuddy).
Richard has led communications strategy for both local and central government in Australia and the UK, and has advised commercial clients including IKEA, Pfizer, Sainsbury’s, ING, ITV, BT, Kimberly Clark, American Express, InterContinental Hotels Group, Campari, FOX Networks, Starbucks and Unilever. He was the first dedicated Head of Ogilvy Change, the only embedded behavioural practice in a communications agency.
He has conducted training for call centre personnel, marketing directors, press officers, media planners, creatives and everything in between. A frequent conference speaker throughout Europe, Richard and his team also hosted the 2016 ‘Nudgestock’ festival of behavioural science.

MARK MOLLOY, MSC, MA (ECONS)

Mark has designed and led behavioural programs for clients such as Transdev PLC, Anglian Water, The Financial Conduct Authority, The Money Advice Service and others.
The main focus of his work is leveraging learnings from behavioural economics to design and implement changes that have concrete financial implications, whether in costs savings or revenue growth.
Mark’s most successful program to date was a large scale behavioural program designed and implemented for the LUAS tram system in Ireland. The program successfully lowered fare evasion rates on a public transport system. Additionally, a 52% increase in fines paid was registered in the first year alone.
Mark was formerly Consultancy Services Director at INFLUENCE AT WORK UK, the UK based division of Dr. Robert Cialdini’s behavioural agency. Mark earned his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.

Stef has two main work-based passions: making data sing and training. She joined the media research industry in 1998 and had established herself as a specialist in manipulating and interrogating media industry data during her years as VP of Telmar UK.
Spanning advanced crosstab reporting to segmentation work and data integration, Stef has a proven track record in transforming statistics and spreadsheets into compelling human stories. Her work for the Central Office of Information (COI) saw her branch out into the field of communications evaluation and she has trained hundreds of clients on the fundamental principles of sound evaluation and planning.
Stef began her training career two decades ago and has a genuine passion and love for training, deriving great personal satisfaction from helping learners grasp new concepts and gain confidence. She has worked with and trained clients from top media agencies, international, national and regional media owners, UK civil service and the financial services sector.
